Somerset County Council leader expresses ‘deepest condolences’

Somerset County Council’s leader has expressed his “deepest condolences” to the family of four year-old Dylan Cecil, who went missing in the sea at Burnham on Sunday.

John Osman, Leader of the Council, said today (Tuesday): “On behalf of Somerset County Council I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Dylan Cecil.”

“It is every parent’s nightmare and our thoughts are with them at this tragic time.”

“I would also like to thank all those Emergency Services who searched, and are continuing to search, so valiantly for Dylan.”

“I know they and the local community will also be deeply affected by this tragedy.”
