Sixth form students from Highbridge’s King Alfred School celebrated the end of their school year with a fun-packed prom on Friday night (July 8th).
Around 120 pupils from years 12 and 13 gathered at Weston Pier for their special evening.
The students arrived in limousines and other eye-catching vehicles for the evening before enjoying a three-course dinner and disco.
“It was a fantastic event to celebrate the end of a very busy and successful year for the students before some of them move onto university,” a school spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“They had a seaside-themed buffet after time on the pier’s rides. This was followed by live entertainment, a disco and a slide show featuring photos from their time at King Alfred School from Year 7 to the present day.”
