Sackfuls of discarded rubbish collected in litter-pick along A38

-

The A38 through West Huntspill will be looking cleaner this week after residents carried out a major litter pick over the weekend.

Sackfuls of rubbish were collected along the busy route by a community-spirited group of local councillors and residents throughout Sunday.

“It’s something that we try and do every May and September to ensure the road is as clean as possible – it’s amazing just how rubbish does get discarded,” Cllr Jane Moreton, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
