Three people were hurt in a crash on the M5 near Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday afternoon (May 28th).

A fire crew and ambulance from Burnham-On-Sea was called to the M5 southbound carriageway shortly before 4pm.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Two fire appliances from Bridgwater and one from Burnham On Sea were mobilised to this incident.”

“Upon arrival crews confirmed a one vehicle road traffic collision with all persons free and clear of the vehicle. Three casualties were treated at the scene by ambulance personnel.”
