Firefighters from Burnham and Bridgwater were called to the M5 southbound exit sliproad at junction 23 shortly before 4.30pm.
Crews confirmed there had been a two-vehicle road traffic collision and that all the occupants were free from the cars.
However, three people with injuries believed to be minor were assessed by ambulance crews at the scene.
