Colourful costumes were out in force when a Mad Hatters’ tea party was held in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (June 8th).
The unique event at the town’s Marine Cove seafront gardens saw visitors being invited to take part in a range of fun games and also visit stands from local voluntary groups.
Co-organiser Linda Bullimore from Burnham Town Team told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a steady flow of visitors throughout the day – it was a fun event with the Mad Hatter element involving games and competitions led by a team of eight of the Alice in Wonderland Characters.”
“In addition, several local groups from Burnham set up stands to tell the public about their group and how residents can volunteer.”
