-

A local artist will be displaying her work in Burnham-On-Sea’s Princes Theatre later this month.

Margaret Riordan, a self-taught Lympsham artist, will be exhibiting some of her works in the Arts Lounge at the Princess Theatre in Princess Street.

Her display of colourful paintings, some of which have a seaside theme including the one pictured here, will be on show from Tuesday 23rd August until Saturday 3rd September 2016 during normal the theatre’s normal opening hours – Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-3pm.

She is the latest in the line-up of local artists displaying their work in the arts lounge this year – a facility that the theatre is keen to promote to the local art community.

An exhibition of photography called ‘To see a World in a Grain of Sand’ by Mary Thompson will also take place in the Art Lounge at The Princess Theatre from August 16th until August 27th.
