Delighted organisers have hailed Mark village’s second International Vehicle Festival, which was held on Sunday (August 17th), a success.

Over 250 vehicles went on display at the festival, run by Bruce and Julie-Ann Penrose (pictured above) and members of the Mark Community Association.

Almost 2,000 people attended the popular event, which raised money towards the village hall’s refurbishment programme.

“It’s been a tremendous success. After heavy rain on Saturday, we were concerned about the condition of the fields where all the cars were being displayed, but in fact it all went ahead as planned,” Julie-Ann told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The show featured vehicles ranging from classic, vintage, military and agricultural cars, motorbikes and lorries to today’s latest family cars.
