Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor has this week formally announced his official new cadet for the coming year.
Cllr Derick Cooper welcomed Burnham Scout Nick Jones to the post during this week’s town council meeting.
“I would like to congratulate Nick on being chosen as the Mayor’s cadet – there was an interview for the position this year and Nick is an excellent choice,” said the Mayor.
Nick is pictured here alongside Derick Cooper and Robin Lodge, vicar of St John’s Church in Highbridge, who is the Mayor’s chaplain.
