Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor formally appoints his Chaplain and Cadet

Burnham and Highbridge’s Mayor formally appointed his official chaplain and cadet for the coming year on Monday evening (June 3rd).

Cllr Martin Cox named Reverend Graham Witts from Burnham’s St Andrew’s Church as the Mayor’s Chaplain.

He is pictured below being handed the Town Council’s traditional red ‘stole’, an embroidered red band, at the start of Monday’s council meeting.

And the Mayor’s Cadet was named as Harry Jackson, 13, a corporal from Burnham’s 290 Air Cadets Squadron who is shown receiving his official badge from Cllr Cox.
