After five days of loud music and huge crowds, Glastonbury Festival boss Michael Eavis enjoyed a walk along Burnham-On-Sea’s beach last night (Monday).

Within hours of the festival ending, Mr Eavis took a peaceful stroll along the sands at sunset and enjoyed a paddle in the sea with a friend.

He told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The beach here is superb for a peaceful walk after a busy few days – very relaxing. I even had a paddle too – the sea was lovely and warm.”

Last year, Mr Eavis said in a national newspaper interview that Burnham is his favourite place in Somerset, as we featured here. He praised the town for being “laid back and unspoilt.”
