Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Moose Lodge flocked to the Oak Tree Arena in Highbridge at the weekend for a successful Moose International District Conference.
24 brothers and 29 Ladies’ Circle members attended the event, alongside VIP visitors including National President Albert Skeates and National Lady President of Ladies’ Circles, Sue Pallett.
After the opening introductions a short period of remembrance took place, where names of departed members were read by brother Chris Harris.
Governor Jim Dolan and Ladies’ circle president Pat Burge gave reports for the Burnham-On-Sea lodge 123.
A two course dinner was served, followed by a presentation of Victoria Wood songs and anecdotes from entertainer and historian Matthew Stroston.
