Burnham and Highbridge’s local Neighbourhood Planning group have launched a survey to seek people’s reactions to local issues.

The survey asks a number of general ‘quality of life’ questions but also some more specific questions about three topics – new housing, Highbridge Town Centre, and Burnham Town Centre.

In addition, there are questions about the respondents themselves. The survey is being delivered to all houses in the area but is also available online here.

The group’s Phil Harvey told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It is important that we gain as much feedback from everyone as to their opinions on these local issues so we would encourage everyone to respond either electronically or on the paper copy.”

“The personal information collected will not be passed onto any third party but will help us in deciding how representative the responses are of the population at large.”

The paper version of the questionnaire has turned out to be difficult for some people to read. A large print version is available to anyone who wants it – just ring 01278 238168 and request one.

The Neighbourhood Planning group is open to everyone and you can find out more by visiting their Facebook Page or calling member Phil on 01278 238168. The group meet regularly in Burnham and Highbridge.
