A coffee morning held at Burnham-On-Sea’s Methodist Church has raised hundreds of pounds for Macmillan Cancer Support during a nationwide event to mark the ‘world’s biggest coffee morning’.

Burnham and Highbridge’s Deputy Mayors Bill Hancock and Nick Tolley were among those attending special event.

“I would like to thank everyone who supported the cause. We have a great community here in Burnham.”

“We had a great turn out. A big thank you to everyone that donated cakes. And those who helped, plus to the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress for attending.”
