The Pawlett Plod 5km running event returns on Sunday 22nd June when local runners in the Burnham-On-Sea area are being encouraged to take part.
Yellow Brick Road Walking and Running Club, pictured, have also supported the set up of a fun run as well this year.
“We hold the Plod 5km every year to help raise funds for Pawlett Preschool, a committee run preschool that relies on fundraising to pay for new learning resources. It is held at the Pawlett Pavilion.”
“Registration is at 9am priced at £10. The fun run starts at 10am. The route follows a beautiful path alongside the River Parrett and past the historical balloon hanger.”
Shortly after the fun run, the Pawlett Pavilion are holding a farmers market with a BBQ and bouncy castle so there is lots to do for all ages! Many raffle prizes will be available.
