Burnham motorcyclist to hold fundraising bike run for town’s hospital

-

Burnham-On-Sea motorcycle enthusiast Phil Hayward is to hold a fundraising bike run in aid of the Friends of Burnham Hospital this weekend.

The event on Sunday 13th June will see dozens of motorcyclists ride between
Burnham and Lynmouth.

Tony Deahl of the Friends of Burnham Hospital told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Phil and a number of his friends are raising money for the hospital as a way of thanking the hospital and its staff for the excellent treatment that they have received in past years.”

The bike run will start from outside Burnham Medical Centre in Love Lane at 10.30am and all owners of bikes and trikes are welcome to join.

Phil, pictured, hopes for a large number of entrants, perhaps as many as 300. Entry costs £5 per bike, not including toll road fees. Members of the public are welcome to come and give the bikers a send off.
