Crowds of people headed into Burnham-On-Sea town centre on Saturday (7th December) when the town’s first Christmas-themed food festival was held.

The event celebrated local producers during a one-day market held in Victoria Street, College Street and inside the Methodist and Baptist Churches.

Festive sparkle was brought to the town centre with a visit by Santa and entertainment from Burnham and Highbridge Town Band and the Mudlarks Choir alongside other performers.

Co-organiser Bev Milner Simonds told Burnham-On-Sea.com it had been a “fantastic” event and she hoped it would return again at the same time in 2020.
