Volunteers have planted hundreds of bulbs around Highbridge’s Apex Park this week in an effort to brighten up the park next Spring.

Members of the Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group and Sedgemoor District Council’s Clean Surroundings Team teamed up to make sure the session went ahead.

They planted the bulbs around the main car park area and around the lakes during the work on Wednesday (November 10th), as pictured here.

A spokesman said: “This work should provide some colour within the park next Spring! Our thanks go to all those who helped out.”
