A discarded cigarette caused a small fire in a planter on Burnham-On-Sea seafront.
One fire engine was called to Burnham’s Esplanade at 7pm on Friday (June 25th) after a walker reported that a flower planter outside the Bay View Cafe was alight.
Crews used a single hose reel water jet to extinguish the fire, as pictured here, and make the metal container safe.
