A pole dancing evening held in Brean on Saturday (22nd November) raised over £2,000 for a men’s cancer charity.

The event, held at The Beachcomber, raised a huge total of £2,225 for testicular cancer support charity ‘It’s in the Bag’.

Local pole dancing fitness group Pole Essence organised the festive-themed event, with members performing a number of routines.

The money was raised from ticket sales, a raffle, donations and the sale of charity’s own branded merchandise.

A spokeswoman for Pole Essence said they were delighted how the event had gone and thanked all those who supported the event by attending.
