Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre is to hold a special Open Day today (Saturday, July 5th) when visitors will be able to find out more about the many regular activities that are held there every week.

The theatre’s groups will be on hand to show visitors what they do and how people can get involved from 10am-3pm.

“From acting to kurling, from bingo to knitting, it all happens in here and you are welcome to come along and find out more,” Princess Manager Sam Nicol, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“During the open day, visitors will be able to have a go at kurling with the Friends Of The Princess where the highest score of the day will win a prize!”

“Visitors will also be able to see how joining the Friends offers benefits as well as supports the theatre. Speak to our volunteer coordinator and see how you can get involved in the day-to-day running of the venue and what that entails.”

There will also be tours backstage and an opportunity to see how the theatre’s lighting works. Join us for a coffee and a wander round – everyone will be very welcome!

Princesses Anna and Elsa from the movie Frozen will also making a special appearance during the Open Day from 1pm-2.30pm.
