Burnham-On-Sea RNLI to hold tenth anniversary black-tie ball

-

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI Lifeboat station has announced a grand ball to celebrate its tenth anniversary.

The black-tie event will be held at The Webbington Hotel, near Loxton, on 9th November 2013.

It will feature a three-course dinner, with entertainment from party band ‘Dr Chocolate’ and supporting disco, plus a raffle.

Tickets cost £40 per person and the menu choices will be given on the booking form. The closing date for ticket applications is Saturday 19th October to give the organisers plenty of time to arrange a successful evening.

Organiser Phillip Counsell says the event is an ideal way for local businesses to give employees an early Christmas celebration and therefore table bookings for groups are welcome. “We are very proud of our lifeboat station, so come help us celebrate,” he said.

To receive a booking form, contact Tim Walters on 07894 834776, or contact one of the other lifeboat crew.
