Burnham-On-Sea County Councillor Peter Burridge-Clayton and his wife Jo were among hundreds of people pulling on Rocky Horror themed costumes on Saturday night (November 21st) for a local charity’s fundraising ball.
The couple, pictured right, helped raise money for East Huntspill’s Secret World during the comic-themed event held in The Webbington Hotel at Loxton.
A Meat Loaf tribute band was arranged for the night and suppporters also enjoyed a three-course meal, auction, casino, cabaret and dancing.
Debbie O’Keefe, one of the charity’s fundraisers, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was a really fun evening – everyone enjoyed themselves and we hope to have raised several thousand pounds for Secret World in the process.”
