Police and fire crews were called to East Brent on Friday afternoon (November 5th) after a car collided into a telegraph pole, sending it onto a road.
One fire engine from Burnham-On-Sea was sent to Rooksbridge Road in East Brent at 2.57pm.
A fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “On their arrival, the crew confirmed that a pole was right across the road, leading to the road being closed.”
“The electric company was requested to attend due to the nature of the incident.”
There were not understood to have been any serious injuries.
