Burnham Scouts appeal for help in fundraising challenge

-

Two Explorer Scouts from Burnham-On-Sea who have been selected to represent Somerset at the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden this summer are holding two fundraising events this weekend.

Emily Burland and Rebecca Roseff each have to raise £2,000 to attend the event, during which they will be undertaking community work.

The girls are holding a coffee morning on Saturday 24th July between 9.30am and 12:30pm at the Baptist Hall in College Street.

Then, on Sunday 25th July, they will hold a car wash outside Abbott and Frost estate agents in College Street from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

“If you would like your car washed then please book in for a time slot by ringing Dave Burland on 01278 786960. Both events will help raise funds to achieve our goal of raising £2,000 each,” Emily told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
