A screening of historical film footage featuring Brent Knoll is to be shown at a special event in the village today (Sunday, June 1st).
The event will start at 3pm in St. Michaels Church in Brent Knoll where old films taken in the village will be shown of village events and people from over the decades.
Organiser Margaret Smith says: “The films were taken by David Bolland from 1971 to 2003.”
“We will probably be showing a film from 1994 to 1995 showing village events, as this shows social history but also people who are still with us or have recently passed away.”
“If we have time we will also show Brent Knoll Chronicle from 1972 to 1977 which has some audio description on it.”
Refreshments will be available and entry will be by donation, raising funds for the church and Parish.
