The Burnham-On-Sea area was left shivering under a layer of snow and ice this morning (Monday, December 21st).
Temperatures dipped to minus five centigrade overnight, leaving slippery roads and pavements, as pictured here.
Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com that motorists should take care and only drive if it is absolutely necessary. Pictured above were the icy conditions along Stoddens Lane this morning.
Burnham received a covering of snow on Sunday night and is forecast to receive more wintry weather over the next few days.
