Youngsters at a Burnham-On-Sea kindergarten raised money for Children In Need on Wednesday (November 16th) by holding a fundraising picnic.
Southleigh Kindergarten in Rectory Road enjoyed a Teddy Bear’s Picnic with each making a donation to the good cause.
Southleigh’s Vickie Cook told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The children have been planning what they wanted for their picnic and then the parents were kind enough to bring in something each. The children enjoyed a range of fruit, vegetables and healthy snacks, along with a couple of treats.”
“The children brought in their teddies for the picnic and all donated £1 to Children In Need. Some of the children have also been baking cakes and decorating them, to sell to raise even more money.”
