The 700th anniversary of Burnham-On-Sea’s St Andrew’s Church was marked with a special gala concert on Saturday night (October 3rd).
The celebration – which was billed as a ‘feast of home grown entertainment’ – saw the audience treated to several super performances by local groups.
They included St Andrew’s Church Choir, St Andrew’s Sunday School, The Ladies of the Social Committee, Janet Chalmers, Francesca Bowkett, Leuan Cornish, St Andrew’s School Choir, Mike Saunders and John Page.
Vicar Rev Graham Witts said the concert had provided a superb quality evening of entertainment to mark’s the church’s anniversary.
