Police in fresh appeal for witnesses after Burnham-On-Sea stabbing

Burnham-On-Sea police have this week issued a fresh appeal for witnesses following a stabbing of a man in the town’s High Street last month.

The incident happened on Burnham High Street outside Lloyds Bank at around 7.20pm on Tuesday 18th November, as pictured above.

“We are appealing for the public’s help with information following an assault in Burnham-on-Sea,” said police spokeswoman Sarah Key.

“A 20 year old man was assaulted and stabbed outside Lloyds Bank and was chased to the Esso Garage on Oxford Street. A 40 year old woman has been arrested and bailed in relation to the incident.”

“We would like anyone who has information about the incident to contact us. If you can help, report it.”
