Highbridge’s Lisa Jane School of Dance raises over £2,600 at Race for Life

A group of more than 40 students and their families from The Lisa Jane School of Dance in Highbridge have raised over £2,600 for charity by completing a 5km Race for Life.

The group took part in Sunday’s Taunton’s 5km Race for Life and their amazing fundraising efforts have so far raised £2,615.40 for Cancer Research with the total still growing.

Lisa Herbert told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are amazed by the fantastic response we have had and are overwhelmed by the total donations we have received as a team.”

“Cancer Research is a cause very close to our hearts and we are so pleased that our support for this charity has been so successful.”

“Many thanks to all the families, friends and local businesses that have made and collected donations.”

“We are thrilled to have raised such a huge amount and it was a very enjoyable event to be part of.”
