The manager of a Burnham-On-Sea shop which has closed down this week has thanked customers for their support over the past two decades.

We recently reported here that the Tenovus charity shop in Burnham High Street would be closing.

Helen Robinson, Tenovus Cancer Care’s Retail Area Manager, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We would like to say a great big thank you to everyone who has been involved with our shop in Burnham-On-Sea over the past 20 years.”

“We’ve worked with so many lovely people who have made such a difference to so many lives.”

“The town has a great community spirit and your support for us has been invaluable.”

“You have helped us raise thousands and thousands of pounds over the years which we’ve used to fund vital research and provide support to hundreds of people affected by cancer.”

“Although we no longer have a shop in Burnham, I’d like to reassure your readers that we are still very keen for their support and will be looking to get involved in the community whenever we can.”
