The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning of heavy rain and strong winds in the Burnham-On-Sea area today (Friday, December 14th).
A yellow warning is in place from 3am until 6pm, with predictions of 15-20mm of rainfall and gusts of wind up to 45mph.
A Met Office spokesman said: “Heavy rain is expected to spread northeastwards across the UK during the day. The public should be aware of the possibility of local flooding and disruption to travel.”
