A lady was rescued from a water-filled ditch in Brean during the early hours of Friday (April 12th).
One fire engine from Burnham and a specialist rescue team were sent to reports of a female trapped in a ditch outside Brean Leisure Park at 2.49am.
“The crews rescued a casualty from a water-filled ditch. She had been in the water for approximately an hour and a half,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com. The ambulance service was called to check her over.
