Burnham-On-Sea couple unveil emotional Christmas lights display

-

A house near Burnham-On-Sea has been lit up with hundreds of Christmas lights to raise funds for a baby bereavement suite at Taunton’s Musgrove Hospital.

The display in Southwick Road, Watchfield, near the Watchfield Inn, is extra for Leanne and Matt Watts since they went through the heartache of losing a baby earlier this year.

“Kevin, my father-in-law, and my husband Matt decorate the house with lights every year, and this year we’ve decided to do it for The Rowan Baby Bereavement Suite at Musgrove,” said Leanne.

“Matt and I had a baby who died in August and therefore we wanted to raise money to help other families who unfortunately have to use the suite to say goodbye to their baby.”

The lights are being switched on every night from 5pm-9pm until January 1st and donations are gratefully received.
