Royal horse rider Zara Phillips competed at a horse trials near Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (July 18th).

The daughter of Princess Anne attended the Stockland Lovell horse trials besides Hinkley Point, as pictured, where she competed on three horses.

She did well, finishing third in the novice class and fourth in the intermediate category.

Zara is pictured on the right with Bridgwater Bay and the coastline of Burnham-On-Sea behind her.

She is currently the reigning Eventing World Champion and was voted 2006 BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

The eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II was the main attraction for some of the spectators at the event, which was part-sponsored by EDF and Hinkley Point.
