How to buy your launch permit… In order to launch any boat, yacht, jet ski or other water craft from Burnham-On-Sea’s jetty and slipway (pictured right) you require a launch permit.
This is charged at £85 and covers the year from March to March, or you can buy a daily £21 permit. More details are available here.

The application form records your personal details (name, address etc) plus details of your craft and also asks you to declare that you have public liability insurance for the use of the craft for a minimum of £2 million.
Once you have delivered your craft to the beach or jetty, you are required to park your vehicle in the special trailer area at the rear of the supermarket car park opposite the seafront. Parking here costs £6 per day.
