£10,000 of products stolen in 3am burglary at Brent Knoll’s Sanders Garden Centre

-

Thousands of pounds of high-value products have been stolen in a burglary at Sanders garden centre in Brent Knoll this weekend.

Burglars forced entry to the site during the early hours of Saturday morning (May 23rd), before taking away a large quantity of products with a value of over £10,000.

Talking to Burnham-On-Sea.com, manager Karen Hamer says she was “shocked” by the night-time incident.

“The burglary was well planned, taking place at 3am on Saturday morning,” she says.

“They forced their entry onto the site and then took away a large quantity of high-end barbecues, furniture, outdoor heaters and other products.”

“Several people would have been involved due to the weight and size of the products taken. We think a large lorry may have been used to take away the stolen items.”

“A lot of the products were our own brand – featuring the Blue Diamond logo or Webber and Kadie names, so they will be easy to identify.”

Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Police on 101. The garden centre remains open.

In a spate of incidents this weekend, a quad bike was also stolen from a nearby farm in Brent Knoll and tools and garden machinery were stolen in East Huntspill.
