New life-saving community defibrillator installed in Berrow

-

A new life-saving public access defibrillator has been installed in Berrow next to the village’s golf course.

The community defib is visible from the public footpath leading from Berrow Church to the beach.

“It is approximately 120 yards north of the path, attached to a low brick building that houses the pumping station, again clearly visible from the path,” says Burnham & Berrow Golf Club trustee Harvey Sampson.

“This new community equipment has been bought by the club and is accessible to those using the area. We hope it never needs to be used but it is reassuring to know it is there.”
