A 26-year-old woman has appeared in court following a dramatic crash in Berrow earlier this month.
The motorist, of no fixed address, has appeared at Taunton Magistrates’ Court following the crash of a car into a wall.
“She was charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and assault with intent to resist arrest,” says a Police spokesperson.
“The charges follow an incident on Friday 10th April when an officer attempted to stop a vehicle suspected of being uninsured in Burnham-On-Sea.”
“The vehicle was involved in a collision with a wall in Barton Road, Berrow, later that day.”
