Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club has thanked the town’s residents for their support as they performed in front of their home crowd last night (Monday).
The club’s Christmas-themed entry, called It’s A Cracker, clinched second place in the juvenile class after Marina Sydenham.
Hillview’s Duncan Britton told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a great reception from the crowd – they were superb.”
“Everyone at Hillview really appreciated the huge applause we received and we were pleased to earn second place in our home town.”
Hillview’s Treasurer Lyn Burland added: “We all had a great evening – the children loved it and we are all so pleased that it went so well.”
