Burnham-On-Sea fire crew called to Highbridge fuel leak

-

Firefighters were called to a Highbridge home on Friday evening (February 24th) to investigate a fuel leak.

One fire engine from Burnham-On-Sea was sent to Dunbar Close at 9.39pm after residents reported a strong smell of petrol in the area.

“On investigation, the crew gained access to a garage and removed a vehicle from inside,” a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“They stemmed a leak of petrol using kit to absorb the leak and duty of care was left with the owner of the vehicle.”
