Budding young gardeners in Burnham-On-Sea are being sought by the Friends of Marine Cove Gardens to carry on the work in the future.
The Cove’s Community Gardener, Jacqui Strong, has this week told Burnham-On-Sea.com she is keen to get youngsters involved in maintaining the gardens and wants to set up a junior gardening club.
The restoration project has recently been completed at Marine Cove, and the volunteers are needed to assist with maintenance and upkeep.
“There is already have a dedicated team of local people willing to assist with the garden, but the Friends of Marine Cove is looking for more who would be prepared to donate their time to caring for this unique garden,” she said.
Mrs Strong will be at the garden willing to work with volunteers on the first Monday in every month. For further information, email her here.
