Berrow Music Festival 2004

The 6th classical Berrow Chamber Music Festival takes place at the picturesque St Mary’s Church in Berrow, Somerset (pictured right) between July 1 and 3, 2004.

Thursday July 1 is ‘Family Night’ and begins at 7.30pm with Bach’s Partita (excerpts) for solo violin. Other music during the evening includes Poulenc’s Novellette, Beethoven’s Spring Sonata and Saint-Saens Carival Of The Animals.

Friday July 2 is ‘New Music Night’ and begins at 7.30pm with Elias’ Song Of Solomon, followed by Silkstone’s Quartet, Lloyd’s States Of Mind, Barton’s songs, Barber’s Dover Beach and Millhaud’s Clarinet trio.

The final evening, on Saturday July 3, begins at 7.30pm. It includes Bach’s C Major Suite for solo cello, Ravel’s Sonate for violin and cello, and Brahms’ Piano Trio, Opus 8.

Admission for each evening is £5. Under 16s can get free admission.
