Brean Play joins forces with Salvation Army to launch annual Christmas toy appeal for needy children

-

Brean Play at Brean Leisure Park is once again joining forces with the Salvation Army for its annual Christmas Toy Appeal, to provide a happy Christmas to children in the local Somerset Area.

People are invited to drop a new, unused toy for a child (newborn to 16 years old) into the Brean Play collection point anytime before 12th December.

The Salvation Army centre in Weston Super Mare will then wrap the gifts, which will be distributed to children in need and families in the local area through the Salvation Army’s own networks, local groups and social services.

Mike Barsby from Brean Play said: “When buying a gift for your children or grandchildren think of what they might like in their Christmas stocking and please consider buying an extra present and donating it.”

“By giving a gift to our Christmas Present Appeal you can make a real difference to a local child who may otherwise not get presents this Christmas.”

Gifts can include anything from soft and educational toys for the very youngest child, to games, toys and accessories for older children.

Brean Play is open daily to accept gifts for the Appeal from 9.30 to 5.30 at Coast Road, Brean, TA82QY. More information is on the Salvation Army Toy Appeal website.
