A special night of music celebrating Buddy Holly will be held in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (August 2nd).
The Princess Theatre is hosting ‘Rave On – A Tribute to Buddy Holly’, a 55th anniversary celebration, from 7.30pm.
“Marc Robinson, with his horned rimmed glasses, Stratocaster guitar, and authentic costume changes will recreate and celebrate the music of the man himself, Buddy Holly,” says a spokesman.
“In this 55th anniversary year without Buddy, Marc Robinson and the Counterfeit Crickets will bring you classics such as It Doesn’t Matter Anymore, Heartbeat, Peggy Sue, True Love Ways and many, many more.”
Tickets cost £16 for standard while concessions and Friends of the Princess members are £15. The event is suitable for all ages. Call 01278 784464 for more details.
