Burnham-On-Sea police issue appeal after fail-to-stop collision

Police have appealed for information following a fail-to-stop-crash near Burnham-On-Sea.

Officers were called to Lympsham on Tuesday evening (January 21st) after a car collided with a parked vehicle.

Police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to reports of a collision at about 9.15pm in Rectory Way.”

“This was a damage only fail-to-stop collision where a vehicle hit a parked and unattended car. At least one person, possibly two, left the scene.”

“Police enquiries are continuing and anyone who may have information to help the police should contact officers at Burnham-On-Sea police station on the force number 101.”
