Police investigate ‘deliberate’ blaze at Highbridge flats complex

-

Fire crews believe a blaze outside a block of flats in Highbridge was started deliberately in the early hours of Sunday morning (July 7th).

Two fire engines from Burnham-On-Sea were called to Charlotte Court at just before 12.30am.

A building contained large council waste bins had been set alight outside the property, pictured here.

Crews used three hose-reel jets and a compressed air foam jet to extinguish the blaze. The cause of the fire was believed to be deliberate, added the spokesman.

Anyone with information should contact police via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
