Highbridge’s King Alfred School celebrates students’ success

-

The talents of pupils at Highbridge’s King Alfred School have been recognised this week during a special awards ceremony.

A Celebration Evening was held for last year’s Year 11 and Year 13 students to recognise their successful exam results.

Christine Platel, the school’s Business Manager, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “An excellent evening was had by all students from last year’s Year 11 and 13 who were able to attend our informal evening to celebrate their GCSE and A-Level results.”

“They were joined by their friends and family and there was a lovely atmosphere throughout the evening.”

Prizes were given for subject specific awards and areas of excellence.
