Local artist’s humourous paintings go on display in Burnham-On-Sea

-

An exhibition of humourous and surreal paintings by Berrow artist Malcolm Dormer is underway in Burnham-On-Sea this week.

Malcolm’s unique artwork features animals, such as giraffes and cattle, in unusual settings such as Burnham-On-Sea’s famous beach lighthouse, above.

More than 40 of his paintings are on show until September 29th in the arts lounge at Burnham’s Princess Theatre in Princess Street (open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-3pm).

Malcolm’s work includes decorating a bus shelter in Berrow with a giraffe theme, as we featured here in 2011.

He told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The work I do always gets lots of interest and positive feedback – it’s very unique. I look forward to seeing lots of visitors this week.”
